Luanda — Angola is committed so that the International Donors' Conference for Guinea-Bissau, set for 25 March, in Brussels (Belgium), may achieve positive results in benefit of the Guinean people, ensured on Thursday in Luanda, the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Manuel Domingos Augusto.

At Luanda's "4 de Fevereiro" International Airport from Accra (Ghana), where he attended a preparatory meeting for the conference, the diplomat said to Angop that the country is in the front line and convinced of the success of the conference.

About the Accra meeting, he explained that the event served to reinforce the construction process of a partnership with the international community, explore effective ways of coordination and standardization in the implementation of reforms established by the government of Guinea-Bissau in the field of defense and security, economic recovery and normalization of the political and social life.

The preparatory meeting counted on the participation of the ministers of ECOWAS, CPLP, representatives of AU, UN EU, World Bank and AfDB, as well as a delegation of Guinea-Bissau, led by its Prime-minister, Domingos Simões Pereira, who presented Guinean strategic and operation plan for 2015-2025.
